Alaska Insurance Information

Alaska is the biggest state in the nation, which is fantastic since it is one of the most magnificent regions on earth. We’re talking nearly six-hundred-thousand square miles of beauty. With fewer than a million residents, Alaska is the most sparsely populated of all fifty States in the Union. While Alaska may not have the same scale of roadway infrastructure, the State does sponsor both a Department of Transportation and a Department of Insurance, both of whom exist to keep Alaskans’ safety and security at the fore. Alaska’s minimum insurance requirements are:

  • Bodily injury per person: $50,000
  • Bodily injury for all persons: $100,000
  • Property damage coverage: $25,000
