Minnesota Insurance Information

Minnesota, as with all of the fifty states in the Union, mandates basic insurance coverage for resident drivers. Minnesota is also a no-fault auto insurance state.

These laws exist to protect Minnesotans on public roadways; they are not suggestions for coverage. Each driver must make their own determination when determining whether the basic coverage is adequate for their specific needs. Affordable car insurance policies abound and quote comparison services can assist with finding you low cost auto insurance coverage.
