Citizens of Utah are well accustomed to travel. The State is large, being located in the western half of the United States. While relatively sparsely populated Utah is a state with a population of about 2.5 million people that live in its 29 counties.  The largest city in the state is its capital of Salt Lake City which is well known for the Mormon Tabernacle that is located there.  Some of Utah’s greatest attractions include the Zion National Parks and the Capitol Reef, both of which require some traveling to get to.

As with all States in the nation, Utah has enacted laws requiring minimum vehicle insurance for public roadways. It is also a no-fault insurance state. The compulsory auto insurance requirements are:

  • Bodily injury per person: $25,000
  • Bodily injury for all persons: $65,000
  • Property damage coverage: $15,000
